Create and close Aqua positions on the 1inch MCP Server

Preview, open and close 1inch Aqua maker positions from your AI client with the MCP aqua tool. Your wallet signs every transaction. Analytics stay public.

The 1inch MCP Server aqua tool can now preview, open and close maker positions on 1inch Aqua. You keep custody the whole time: the assistant prepares the call, and you sign from your own wallet. Analytics stay public. Writes never move keys onto the server.

What you can do

  • Preview a two-token position before anything is encoded: market price, opening price, range, fee and advisories.
  • Open the position from your AI client after you confirm the preview. Your wallet signs the transaction.
  • Close a position permanently. It stops quoting and your tokens stay in your wallet.
  • Keep using public analytics (maker stats, open positions, activity, volume) with no login.

Built-in actions

Analytics need no authentication. Create and close need a wallet signature:

  • create_positionTwo calls: preview first, then confirm with the returned preview reference
  • close_positionPermanently close a position. Closing cannot be undone.
  • maker_stats / list_openedPublic reads for a maker or the system-wide open-position feed

How it works

  1. Pair your wallet if you are not already authenticated. Ask the assistant to run walletconnect, then approve the pairing. Anonymous sessions also sign the 1inch Terms of Use once (accept_terms).
  2. Preview the position. Call create_position without confirming. Review the opening price against the market, the range, the fee and any advisories. Change the amounts and preview again if needed.
  3. Confirm and sign the same parameters with the returned previewRef and confirmed: true. Approve token allowances and the open-position transaction in your wallet. The preview reference is single-use and expires after about two minutes.

Pair WalletConnect and sign the 1inch Terms of Use; no API key is required. An API key or OAuth session is optional. Anonymous WalletConnect writes are blocked in some regions. Analytics stay available. Taker swaps against a position (build_swap) stay on authenticated Business sessions.

Try it

With a wallet paired, ask your assistant something like:

Using the 1inch MCP server, preview an Aqua USDC/WETH position on Ethereum
for my connected wallet, then create it if the range looks right.
