Agentic swaps with WalletConnect on the 1inch MCP Server
The 1inch MCP Server can now quote and execute on-chain swaps — Classic, Fusion, and cross-chain — signed from your own wallet over WalletConnect.
The 1inch MCP Server can now execute real, on-chain swaps — and you keep custody the whole time. Pair your EVM wallet over WalletConnect, and your AI client can quote and place swaps that you sign from your own wallet. No private keys ever touch the agent.
What you can do
- Get live swap quotes and execute token swaps straight from your AI client.
- Choose the swap type — Classic, Fusion (Intent), or cross-chain — or let the tool pick the best route.
- Pair your wallet over WalletConnect so signatures and transactions happen in your wallet.
Built-in tools
These tools sign and submit real transactions, so they require you to connect a wallet:
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
swap | tool (OAuth) | Quote and execute Classic, Fusion, and cross-chain swaps |
walletconnect | tool | Pair with your EVM wallet for signatures and transactions |
How it works
- Pair your wallet — ask the assistant to run the
walletconnecttool, then scan the URI or QR in your EVM wallet. The session stays paired for later swaps in that client. - Ask for a quote — describe the swap in natural language. The assistant compares Classic, Fusion (Intent), and cross-chain routes and recommends a type — or you can pick one yourself before signing.
- Approve and sign — review amounts and network in your wallet. Classic swaps need a transaction signature; Fusion and cross-chain need typed-data / order signatures. After you approve, the MCP submits the transaction or signed order for you.
The swap tool requires OAuth. Private keys never leave your wallet — the agent only prepares the request and submits what you signed.
Try it
With a wallet paired, ask your assistant something like:
Using the 1inch MCP server, quote a swap of 100 USDC to ETH on Ethereum,
then execute it with my connected wallet.
